Fire broke out at Schafer Generating Station

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. – A large fire broke out at the Schafer Generating station on Thursday, July 16.
According to United Steelworkers local 12775 the power plants 14,345,000 volt power transformer blew up.
Fortunately no one was injured.
Equipment and the building will be evaluated over the next several days.
