Fire chief: 17 horses dead in massive barn fire

Firefighters from 15 departments are on scene of a barn fire at the Smithfield Stables in Edwardsburg.
The stables are at Redfield Street and Elkhart Road.
The Edwardsburg fire chief confirmed 17 horses died in the fire.
The fire started around 4:30 p.m.
