NILES, Mich. -- A house fire broke out early Wednesday morning on Broadway Street.

Investigators say the fire began around 2:15 a.m. and was likely due to an explosion.

Though little of the house remains in the aftermath, officials say that no one was hurt.

This investigation is ongoing.
