SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire on the 100 Block of East Fox Street around 9 p.m.
The initial call indicated that the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Neighbors say they noticed flames coming from the back and within minutes the house was engulfed.
Authorities say they do not believe anyone was inside the home during at the time and no one was injured.
Officials say by 9:30 crews had the fire fully contained, they remained on scene for several hours working the hot spots and clearing the scene.
The fire investigator is working to figure out how the fire started and extent of the damage.
