Fire in South Bend leaves two families displaced

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – This morning at around 2 a.m. a fire took place in a duplex on Philippa St. near Olive and Western.

First responders rushed to the scene and contained the fire within 15 minutes, that unfortunately left two families displaced in its aftermath reported the fire department.

At this time, stated the South Bend Fire Department battalion chief, first responders are checking on hotspots and an investigator will check on the cause during this ongoing investigation.
