LAGRANGE, Ind. -- State fire marshals and multiple insurance investigators met with La Grange Fire Chief Dave Elick Monday about the fire in downtown La Grange on September 12.

They determined the fire started in the southeast corner of the Family Dollar building.

However, they were unable to determine a cause of the fire because of the extensive damage to the buildings.
