Fire officials release cause of deadly body shop fire

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- The cause of the fire at Medina's Body Shop last week has been determined.


The Kosciusko County Fire Investigation Team and the Indiana State Fire Marshal's office ruled the fire accidental.


The fire investigation team says evidence at the scene indicates there was an electrical malfunction in the wiring of a ceiling light.


The fire started in the ceiling of a work bay and spread throughout the building.


Two people died in the fire.
