Fire rips through home in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Fire crews rushed to put out a house fire on Edison Road, around 6:15 p.m.
It only took a few moments to get the flames under control.
The investigation is still underway but firefighters said that it looked like flames sparked in the living room and burned up a couch.
There is smoke damage throughout the home and damage is estimated at $20,000.
No one was hurt.
