Firefighters are investigating a house fire that happened late Friday night in Cassopolis

CASSOPOLIS, Mich -- Firefighters are investigating a house fire that happened late Friday night in Cassopolis.
A farm house suddenly went up in flames and firefighters don't know why. The family that lives in the house was not in the home at the time, but the family tell us some of their family pets were inside a the time and died as a result of the fire.
The family was shocked to find their home on fire when they came home and say they don't have anywhere to go.
No word yet on if the Red Cross has stepped in to help the family.
