Firefighters put out Elkhart vacant house fire

ELKHART, Ind. — Fire crews responded to an early morning vacant house fire in Elkhart.
The fire sparked around 12:20 a.m. at the intersection of Monroe Street and Aspenwald Avenue. Crews quickly got the fire under control.
Fire officials say no one was inside of the house at the time of the fire. And no injuries were reported.
