GOSHEN, Ind. -- January First Fridays kicks off in Goshen this morning, and it starts with the Fire and Ice Festival today!
Goshen neighbors can check out hand-made ice sculptures and fire dancing.
Starting at noon today, sculptors will be doing live ice carvings.
You can watch them create art from 300-pound blocks of ice.
The First Fridays ice throne will be open for pictures, so make sure the kids come dressed in their best royal outfits!
If it gets too cold outside, participating restaurants and retailers in downtown Goshen will be open with food, drink and shopping specials too.
Outdoor fire pits can also warm you up, and you can roast a free marshmallow with them!
Later in the night, you can enjoy performances by fire dancers when the sun goes down.
The fun lasts through 8 o’clock tonight, so plenty of time to bring the family out and have a good time!
The full list of participating restaurants, specials and other details can be found at Downtown Goshen’s website, under events.
