ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—A woman’s clothing store with a mission to empower women has closed its University Park Mall location.

First Harvest owner Kimmie Bridges said in an email that because online sales have surpassed store sales, the company has decided to route their business through their online shop.

“We’re excited to eliminate extra costs from overhead and put that effort into increasing our online sales even more so that we can give more back to women recovering from abuse, addictions and sex trafficking,” Bridges said.

Bridges said the women’s clothing store is relaunching their website in February and will exclusively sell the First Harvest brand.

First Harvest is a women’s boutique that is based out of Indianapolis. The company plans to close its other physical locations as it transitions to being an exclusively online retailer.
