First homes demolished after explosions in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS. -- Indianapolis homeowners stood by as the first houses in the Richmond Hill subdivision were demolished.

A Nov. 10 explosion killed two people and level several homes.

In all, 29 houses have to be torn down.

Doug Aldridge, who's lived in the neighborhood for 11 years choked back tears.

"I've been trying to be real strong for these people, but this is horrible for us," said Aldridge. "We got to live here for another 10-15 years.  So, we need to get back to normal."

Four homes at the center of the blast can't be touched. Police are still processing evidence.

Investigators believe the explosion was set on purpose. So far, no one has been arrested.
