SOUTH BEND,Ind. -- The FIRST Tech Challenge Michiana premier event was held today at the Century Center in South Bend. They hosted a global youth robotics tournament with 96 teams from13 countries and 23 states. The competition began in September of 2024 involves students designing, building and programming robots, coming to head at the final capstone event.
The inaugural event at the century center is part of an international FIRST organization that hosts 8 events worldwide with the Michiana event being the largest.
