Fishing trip ends in tragedy

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ind. -- A fishing trip among friends turned deadly in Indiana.

State Conservation Officers say four men were taking part in a fishing tournament on a Crawford County lake. During the tournament, their boat capsized.

Matt buroker and Ryan Dowdell died in the accident despite efforts to save them.

"Water temperature is the biggest factor which was about 46 degrees. It was very cold water, and then the fact that it was dark and not knowing where exactly to swim," said Duane Engler, conservation officer.

The officers are still trying to find out exactly how the boat sank so quickly.
