A slow-moving warm front paired with abnormally high humidity led to flash flooding Monday in parts of South Bend and Mishawaka.

While parts of Michiana saw more heavy rain on Tuesday, storms had a thankfully quicker pace this time around. The sun even returned to Michiana skies by the early evening.

A rare stretch of dry weather is likely for the area on Wednesday and through much of Thursday. Heavy rain could return to Michiana skies by Thursday night and Friday, meaning more flash flooding is possible.
