Flash flooding risk today - turn around, don’t drown
We’ve seen a few showers and thunderstorms this morning but we’re nowhere near done.
With a stationary front setting up over the Midwest today, heavy rain is in the forecast.
Across Michiana, many could end up seeing close to a half an inch of rain, but greater amounts are likely within thunderstorms and downpours.
Periods of torrential rain will be possible today with some areas likely seeing rain rates greater than 1-inch per hour. There is a slight chance for flooding today with most of Michiana seeing at least a 15% probability of flash flooding within 25 miles of any point.
