Flint gets helping hand from Beyonce, fans

Flint, MI (WNEM) - The Flint community is getting a helping hand from Beyonce.

According to the Detroit News, on Monday the singer-songwriter's entertainment company presented a check to the United Way of Genesee County.

It provided over $82,000 meant to help residents dealing with the lead contamination in Flint's water supply.

Those funds were actually raised by Beyonce's fans, who made the contribution when buying tickets to her tour.
