Florida homes damaged by tornado

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — People living in St. Petersburg, Florida watched on as water spout made land fall into a neighborhood.

The water spout turned twister was caught on camera.

"I seen the tornado start to touch down here at this house an that's when the wind really picked up, starting making a howling noise and we went into the house," said Kevin Burke.

Burke quickly grabbed his camera to catch the rare sight.

"It was very fast," said Melissa Martino. "And then we waited a minute or so and came back out and was like, oooh."

Martino's home was damaged by the tornado.
