Florida hospital workers may have contracted MERS virus

Health officials in Florida are waiting on test results to find out if a pair of hospital workers caught the potentially deadly MERS virus from a patient.


Middle East Respiratory Syndrome showed up in Florida earlier this week. It is the second case in the United States.


Tuesday, two hospital workers were quarantined after showing flu-like symptoms.


The first US case of MERS was discovered in Munster, Indiana.
