MICHIANA--- A rise in inlfuenza cases have caused several schools in Michiana to have e-learning days. Knox, Michigan City, and Bridgman Schools will all cancel classes till at least Monday in order to give students and faculty more time to recover from their illnesses.
There has been a nationwide trend of influenza cases rising in students. St. Joseph, Michigan schools did not cancel classes this week, but they did encourage parents to keep their children at home if they had a fever over 99.4 degrees, have been throwing up, or if they have not been cleared by a doctor or hospital.
