SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After the big game one thing fans always flock to is the nearest pizza joint.
We stopped by Papa Johns on State Road 23 Saturday to see what they were expecting after the game.
And they were expecting big business.
On a normal Saturday they might sell a few hundred pizzas, at most maybe a thousand.
During the first home game of the year, they expect to sell several thousand pizzas!
"The first football game of the year is always the busiest. I think we get the most people in town because it's a big game. Everybody wants to see what the Irish is going to do," said Claudia Cochran, General Manager, Papa John's.
Papa Johns says they will try and get pizzas out as fast as possible.
But with such a large volume of orders, they may be a short delay.
