Ford recalls 11,500 Escapes due to fuel line fire hazard

DETROIT -- If you or someone you know drives a 2013 Ford Escape, you'll want to read this important information.

Ford recalled 11,500 of them on Thursday.

There is a defect in the fuel line that can start a fire.

The Michigan automaker said don't drive your SUV until the problem is fixed. Ford will give Escape owners a loaner car.

So far, three fires have been reported. Luckily, no one was hurt.
