Former Keeler Township Fire Chief Matt Quinn will appear in court on Thursday morning for a preliminary hearing.
Both Quinn and his wife are being charged with one count of embezzlement of more than $1,000 but less than $20,000 from a nonprofit or charitable organization.
They are also being charged with one count of financial transaction device stealing/retaining without consent.
On April 8, Quinn resigned from his position as Keeler Township’s Fire Chief citing personal reasons.
His resignation came as he was under investigation for possible embezzlement.
