MONTANA -- It is a sex abuse case that has rocked a small town in Montana and has a college campus divided.
Thursday, the jury heard from the defendant, a young star quarterback, who was accused of raping a classmate.
He explained the two agreed to meet and watch a movie which led to consensual sex.
"She never said no. I would have hurt her and I would have listened to her and I would have stopped," said Jordan Johnson, former QB of University of Montana. "She seemed fine. If she seemed upset I would have asked her what was wrong."
It took a month for the victim to come forward.
All of this unfolded a year ago this month.
