Former NFL players file class action lawsuit over injuries

The National Football League took a beating in court.
A class action lawsuit was filed against the league involving more than 2,000 former players.
The players claim the NFL misled them for decades about the risks of brain injury.
"There was just no focus on the most important part of your body, which is your brain," former player Kevin Turner said. "This action is about the retired players getting the help they need."
The league has said that it has made player safety a top priority.
Former players are seeking damages from the league and are asking the NFL to create a court supervised medical monitoring system for players with potential brain disorders.
