SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Former Notre Dame and NFL offensive lineman Alex Bars stopped by ABC57 Kickoff for the first time and spoke to the crew about his career including an injury he suffered while playing for the Irish.
Bars played for the Irish 2014-2018 and was a pre-season all-American entering his 5th year when he tore both his MCL and ACL just five games into that incredible season.
Bars goes on to explain how tough that was for him since the Irish played in their first playoff appearance that year against Clemson in the Cotton Bowl.
