GRANGER, Ind. -- Monday was the annual "Run, Jane, Run" golf outing at Knollwood Country Club in Granger and ABC57's Allison Hayes was golfing on the same team as Former Notre Dame Women's Basketball Coach Muffet McGraw.
The golf outing raises funds for the YWCA North Central Indiana which helps support women and children.
This year there's a silent auction where the golfers can bid on over 25 different items.
It's the 40th year of "Run, Jane, Run."
"Well, the why is so important in our community. It helps battered women. It's a women's shelter place for them to take their kids, to have a safe space. We really need this in our community. Unfortunately, they're almost at capacity all the time, so anything that we can do to support them, I think it's a great thing," said McGraw.
