Fortville Police Officer Injured in Line of Duty

FORTVILLE, Ind.-- Another Indiana police officer has been shot in the line of duty.
Late last night, a Fortville police officer was shot in the head and wrist in Hancock County.
Investigators said it was an ambush style attack!
The officer was trying to pull a guy over when police say the suspect pulled out a high-powered weapon and fired off shots.
He returned fire, killing the suspect.
The officer is in good condition tonight.
A k9 officer was shot in that exchange and he is expected to be okay.
