Founder's Week Celebration Begins at Silver Beach

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.-- Silver Beach is kicking off a special week.
Sunday was the third annual "Founder's Week Celebration".
What are they celebrating? Over 100 years ago, two boat builders founded the Silver Beach Amusement Park on Lake Michigan. To this day, Silver Beach continues the legacy the two founders started and honor them with this week-long celebration. Sunday kicked it off with music and a festival and Monday June 25 is Seniors' Day followed by Kiddies' Day on Tuesday, June 26.
