Four arrested following search warrant in Nappanee

NAPPANEE, Ind. – Four people were arrested following a search warrant along North Main Street in Nappanee Saturday, Indiana State Police announced.

At 12:17 a.m., officers performed a search warrant in the 700 block of North Main Street as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

The investigation began when ISP and the Nappanee Police Department received citizen tips reporting suspected drug dealing at the home.

Various agencies conducted the search warrant and found three handguns, drug paraphernalia, 89 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and pills identified as controlled substances, according to reports.

Four adults were arrested during the search warrant:

  • Ortie Leemon, 45, of Nappanee was arrested on the charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia
  • Austin Holdeman-Manges, 21, of Milford was arrested on the charge of visiting a common nuisance
  • Stacie Herr, 43, of Ft. Wayne was arrested on the charges of possession of paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance
  • Kayla Enyeart, 31, of South Whitley was arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, visiting a common nuisance, and neglect of a dependent

All four adults were taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
