Four children hospitalized following buggy crash

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. – Four children and two adults were taken to the hospital after a horse-drawn buggy and a pickup truck collided.

According to St. Joseph County Deputies, the crash happened in the 5200 block of Correll Road on Friday.

All six of the passengers in the buggy, two adults and four children, were transported to a Kalamazoo hospital for treatment.

Deputies say the 55-year-old male driver of the pickup truck was arrested on a drunk driving charge.

The conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.
