Four vehicles stolen from LaPorte dealership

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. – Four high performance Dodge/Jeep vehicles were stolen from a Dodge dealership in LaPorte this weekend, the Indiana State Police reported.

The vehicles were traveling at high speeds on I-80/94. Citizens reported seeing the vehicles traveling upwards of 150mph, reports said.

Troopers were able to locate one of the four vehicles exiting the interstate and continuing northbound onto Cline Avenue.

The vehicle ran out of gas and stopped on the Cline Avenue bridge. The driver then left the vehicle, jumped over the wall, and landed on the ground 30 feet below, reports said.

Troopers searched the area for the suspect but didn’t find them.
