Four Winds Field transforms for Country Fest

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Four Winds Field is going to have another big transformation this summer, turning the outfield into a concert stage for South Bend Country Fest.

The Hawks are teaming up with the city's Parks and Rec Department and B100 to host the first major concert event in the ball park.

The opening act still has to be decided but country stars Jo Dee Messina and Big N Rich are scheduled to perform.

"You kind of know what we do, and how we do it, but the real reason is why we do it and it's to be a good community partner for the region," said South Bend Silver Hawks President Joe Hart.

Tickets for the concert go on sale April 11th for just $25.

The concert is set for June 21st.
