Fourth Annual kindness campaign at Model Elementary

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Model Elementary will begin their Fourth Annual “21 Days To Be Kind” campaign on Wednesday that encourages students, faculty and families to carry out kind acts and behaviors.

For 21 consecutive days, participants will carry out acts of kindness in their community around and within Model Elementary to promote compassion for others and personal selflessness.

“Having students, staff and the Model community join together to bring awareness and attention to the good and kindness in our community is a fun and uplifting endeavor. People will make an intentional effort to go above and beyond to show kindness and love to one another,” said Tami Hicks, Principal of Model Elementary.

Parents participating are encouraged to share how they and their kids have participated in this kindness campaign by sharing experiences on social media with the tags #ModelisKind #BeKind21 and #ModeltheWay.

Research continually supports that acts of kindness help improve the mental health of both the givers and the recipients of such acts.
