Expect a slow going morning commute, as snow continues to fall early this morning. A fresh layer of snow on the ground means roads will be slick.
Temperatures are in the upper teens to low 20s out the door.
Snow should taper by midday, then we stay in a lull from the snow this afternoon with highs in the mid 20s.
Another round of snow starts late this evening, likely after most have gone to bed for the day. This system snow lingers into Friday morning. We could pick up another inch or two of snow by Friday morning across all of Michiana.
After the system snow moves out Friday morning, we will transition into a lake effect snow event, which will impact areas closest to Lake Michigan. Some areas could see significant snow accumulations Friday night into Saturday morning.
Snow ends by Saturday evening, and weather remains dry on Sunday with a little bit of sunshine.
Temperatures will climb closer to normal levels (highs in the lower 30s) looking ahead to next week.
Today: AM snow. Cloudy. Another round of snow late. High 24.
Tonight: Snow. Low 14.
Friday: AM snow. Lake effect snow in the second half of the day. High 20.
Saturday: Lake effect snow showers early. High 18.
