GRANGER, Ind. -- The non-profit Friends of Granger Paths held an open house at the Northpoint Elementary School to show their plans to create more bike and pedestrian trails in the area.
The ultimate goal would be to create even more connectivity with Mishawaka, South Bend, and the entire St. Joseph County trail system.
"We're kind of isolated. It is that is difficult up here right now. We're just kind of connecting our community first, and then trying to find avenues to connect those paths systems to the larger trail systems that are being planned throughout and built throughout the county," stated President of Friends of the Granger Path Gary Babcoke.
The non-profit taking the public's input tonight before submitting a finalized vision plan to the county for approval.
