Frost Advisory: Frost is possible tonight as temperatures drop into the 30s, lows ranging 38 to 36 degrees. A hard freeze is unlikely and most plants should survive unharmed, but picking any ripe fruit or vegetables would be encouraged and watering after midnight is a mitigation technique. Rural open areas are most prone to frost. Plants on porches are unlikely to be hurt but bringing them inside would eliminate the risk.
A sunny, fall-like weekend is in store for Michiana. High temperatures range five to ten degrees below normal. An incredible uninterrupted stretch of sunshine lasts through most of next week with a warm-up through Wednesday, a weak front brings a few clouds and slightly milder weather to end the week.
Tonight: Clear. Low 38.
Saturday: Sunny. High 65
Sunday: Sunny. High 70.
