'Frostina the Planter Contest' in Bridgman asks community to vote for winner

BRIDGMAN, Mich. – The Bridgman Corridor Improvement Authority is hosting a “Frostina the Planter Contest" in downtown Bridgman.

Visitors can walk down Lake Street and view the planters' transformation from summer flowers to winter snowmen and vote on their favorite.

Voting begins Thanksgiving weekend and runs through December 8, with the winner being announced at the Bridgman Holiday Village Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on December 9.

You can vote by scanning the QR Code on each planter, visiting the City’s website at Bridgman.org, or stopping by City Hall for a paper ballot.

Hannah Anderson, Chair of the Corridor Improvement Authority, stated, “Our hope with the planter contest is that it creates an extra level of excitement between our businesses, residents, and visitors during the winter months. We encourage everyone to join the fun by visiting the downtown and voting for your favorite.”
