Fundraiser for July 4 parade and fireworks to be held June 12

The Village of Constantine is looking for participants for its golf outing that raises funds for the annual 4th of July fireworks and parade.

The St. Joe Valley Golf Club will be hosting the Chief James Bedell Memorial 4th of July Fundraiser on June 12 at 9 a.m.

They are looking for 4 person teams to play in the tournament, donations of door prizes and hole sponsors of $100 per hole.

Fees to participate are $50 per golfer/$200 per team. It includes golf and carts, lunch, door prizes and hole-in-one prizes.

The May newsletter will have additional information about the golf outing as well as an entry form.

Last year Constantine had a fireworks display and parade, but were unable to hold the fundraiser.

The town is still collecting returnable bottles. To donate, deliver them to the village office or call the office at 269-435-2085 to arrange pickup.
