Funeral service for West Bloomfield police officer held

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. -- Every seat was taken for a Michigan police officer killed in the line of duty.

Officer Patrick O'Rourke, a 12-year veteran, of the West Bloomfield Police Department was shot and killed while responding to a call at a Detroit area home Sunday night.

The shooting turned into a stand-off in which the shooter later took his own life.

Officer O'Rourke was 39-years-old. He leaves behind a wife and four kids.
