St. Joseph Health System, Unity Gardens to bring first Unity Garden to Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Ind.-- The St. Joseph Health System and Unity Gardens have partnered with each other to bring the first Unity Garden to Plymouth.

They will be filling raised beds and planting the garden on Saturday, May 18 from 1-4 p.m. at the Life Enrichment Center in the 1300 block of West Harrison Street.

Each Unity Garden has two criteria’s: for diverse people to come together to grow a garden and sharing the food grown with the community.

“What is most unique about the Unity Gardens is an approach based on unconditional sharing,” said Sara Stewart,  Executive Director of Unity Gardens.

They will be providing light refreshments and plenty of work for all ages and skill levels.
