Gas leak closes Jackson Boulevard in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. --Construction crews working in the area of E. Jackson Boulevard and Waterfall Drive in Elkhart struck a gas main Wednesday afternoon.
Wind is causing the gas to dissipate, so no evacuations have been ordered.
The bridge on E. Jackson over the river is closed because of the gas leak.
NIPSCO crews are on the way to repair the break.
