Gay marriage supporters stage "kiss-ins" at Chick-Fil-A restaurants

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Another protest at Chick-Fil-A drew out thousands of people nationwide.

On Wednesday, Chick-Fil-A set a record for sales as thousands came out tuo support the company's CEO and his stance against gay marriage.

In response, gay and lesbian couples along with those who support gay marriage went to Chick-Fil-A and staged "kiss-ins."

ABC 57 caught up with one gay couple at the Mishawaka Chick-Fil-A on Main Street and who said they'll still eat there.

"I don't think the opinions of the people who run the place should have a bearing on it. It's about the food. They have really good food," Harry Gilbried said.

On Tuesday, people who support equal marriage rights are asked to show up at Starbucks locations.
