German Twp. home total loss after fire

A fire sparked at a German Twp. home just off of Portage Road that was under construction late Sunday night, and now the home owners are back at square one.
The fire triggered a three-alarm response from area fire fighters, who worked until 3 a.m. putting out hot spots.
No one was inside at the time, and no one was injured putting out the flames.
The home is now a total loss. Fire fighters are investigating what sparked it.
