Get cozy with Winter Reading Challenge at the Elkhart Public Library

ELKHART, Ind. – The Elkhart Public Library announced their Winter Reading Challenge starts Monday and they want you to get cozy and read to win prizes.

Organizers say unlike the Summer Reading Challenge, this one is for adults.

The contest starts Monday and runs through March 17, 2024.

Adults can read any book and track their reading in the free Beanstack app, which can be downloaded here. 

They can also pick books based on challenge activities in the Beanstack app. 

With every book review they write, they'll be able to enter for monthly prizes or one of the grand prizes awarded at the end of the contest.

Organizers say monthly prizes include gift cards to local restaurants like Old Style Deli, The Vine, The Electric Brew, and Mini Delights Bake Shoppe.

Grand prizes include a Nintendo Switch, a Stanley tumbler, and a family pass to Wellfield Botanic Gardens.
