Golf cart driver arrested for OWI

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A golf cart driver was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating while intoxicated following a crash at the Jellystone Campground in Plymouth.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was called to the campground around 11 p.m. Saturday following the crash.

A golf car crashed into a shed, a water line and a fence on the property.

The person driving the cart was identified as 24-year-old Zackary Armentrout, deputies said.

Armentrout told deputies he had been drinking beer and lost control of the golf cart, according to reports.

Deputies took Armentrout for a certified chemical test.

He was then arrested and booked in to the jail for operating while intoxicated.
