Goshen College students protest Ferguson decision

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Shortly after the grand jury decision came down to not indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown, protests erupted in Ferguson, Missouri. Demonstrations were held across the country, including Michiana. Goshen College students gathered at the Elkhart County Courthouse to show voice their concerns. 

Malcolm Stovall, a junior at Goshen College, orchestrated Tuesday night's protest. 

Stovall believes this is an issues important to everyone. "It's not just African-Americans. It's people all over the world. It's white folks. Its everybody.”

He says, what happened to Michael Brown could happen anywhere. "Me as a black man in this society, that could've been me. That could've easily been me.”


The students say they'll be at the courthouse again on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
