Goshen firefighter running for Elkhart County Coroner

A Goshen firefighter says he's running for Elkhart County Coroner.
For the past 10 years Ramer has served as assistant fire chief with the City of Goshen Fire Department and 16 years as a paramedic before that.
Ramer also worked as a reserve police officer in Goshen rising to the rank of lieutenant.
He is currently District 4’s representative to the Goshen Community School Board serving as its vice-president.
Ramer was born and raised 3 miles west of Goshen and he and his wife raised 2 children together.
He is set to retire in June to devote efforts toward becoming a full-time coroner.
