Goshen health fair offers screenings, vaccines on May 6

GOSHEN, Ind. - Residents can get free health screenings and update their vaccine records during a health fair in Goshen on Saturday.

The fair, which runs from 8 a.m. to noon at the Center for Healing and Hope, offers cholesterol, glucose and A1C screenings, blood pressure and BMI tests and flu and COVID-19 vaccines.

The event is part of a free community resource event put on by the Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition, the Indiana Department of Health and several area churches, all with the goal of increasing accessibility to health services for communities who otherwise lack that access.

In addition to the health services, Saturday's event also includes free haircuts and access to food and food pantry items.

Anyone who gets a COVID-19 or flu shot at the clinic will receive a $25 gas gift card in return.

To register, send a WhatsApp message to NIHHC's COVID-19 hotline at 574-206-3938 or call 1-877-21-72583.
